Collection: Sandra Everingham Playmats

From Magic's first set

Sandra Everingham illustrated for Magic from its very first set: her art debuted in Limited Edition Alpha (1993), with Giant Growth among her cards, and went on to debut in Legends, Ice Age and Alliances, among other sets.

Dark Ritual

Dark Ritual debuted with her art in Limited Edition Alpha, and fourteen of the playmats here are Dark Ritual pieces — they also appear in our Dark Ritual collection, alongside other artists' versions of the card.

What's in this collection

Her original Alpha art comes as a signed playmat, as four signed pieces she sketched, labeled Book 1 to 3 and Dragon, and as an Artist Proof, #1 of 25, signed, sketched and stitched. Seven playmats come from Rukh Egg Cup II Barcelona 2026: a signed and stitched Limited Edition of 100 with her reinterpretation of the card, six of them also individually sketched and numbered. Another reinterpretation of hers was made for Winc0n 2023.

Zuran Orb, from Ice Age (1995), comes signed, as a stitched Limited Edition of 100 with a shadow signature, and as an Artist Proof, #13 of 45, signed, sketched and stitched.

Condition and photographs

Because most of these are signed, and many individually sketched or part of limited editions, condition and edition number matter as much as the artwork. Every listing uses real photographs of the actual playmat, so you can check the surface, the signature and (where relevant) the edition number before buying.
