Ron Spencer Playmats

Our Ron Spencer playmats feature three illustrations — Crucible of Worlds, Sliver Queen and Yawgmoth's Will, two of them Reserved List cards — tied to Eternal Weekend events across 2014 and 2022. One Sliver Queen edition uses a holofoil finish and is stitched.

Decades of Magic art, still active today

Ron Spencer's Magic illustrations date back to Limited Edition Alpha (1993) and continue into current sets, most recently The Hobbit: Tales of Middle-earth (2026). He has contributed to Secret Lair drops in 2020, 2022, 2025 and 2026.

What's in this collection

Crucible of Worlds debuted in Fifth Dawn (2004). Sliver Queen and Yawgmoth's Will are both Reserved List cards, debuting in Stronghold (1998) and Urza's Saga (1998). One Sliver Queen piece, part of a Commander Series #6 release, has a holofoil finish and is stitched. The other two — a 2022 Commander Badge printing of Sliver Queen and a 2022 Vintage Championship North America printing of Yawgmoth's Will, both from Eternal Weekend — carry no special finish.
