Jung Park Playmats

Our Jung Park playmats cover six tournament prints, including City of Brass from Grand Prix Las Vegas 2013 — a new illustration made for its Modern Masters (2013) reprint — Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx from Grand Prix Hong Kong 2013, Skysovereign, Consul Flagship from two different Grand Prix, and two prints of Phyrexian Metamorph from Eternal Weekend Pittsburgh 2024, one stitched.

From Planechase to today

Jung Park's Magic illustrations first appeared on a Planechase plane card, Murasa (2009), and continue into current sets, most recently Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander (2026). He illustrated Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for its debut in Theros (2013) — represented in this collection — and created a new illustration of City of Brass for its Modern Masters (2013) reprint. A newer illustration of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx by Alayna Danner appeared later as a Pro Tour Promo (2022); see our Alayna Danner collection for that version. He has contributed one Secret Lair Drop, Inkmoth Nexus (2023). Beyond Magic, he was Lead Concept Artist at Sony Santa Monica on God of War Ascension, and earlier worked on Guild Wars 2.

What's in this collection

City of Brass and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx each commemorate a different 2013 Grand Prix, Las Vegas and Hong Kong respectively. Skysovereign, Consul Flagship appears twice, from Grand Prix Kuala Lumpur and Providence, both 2016. Phyrexian Metamorph is represented twice from the same event, Eternal Weekend Pittsburgh 2024's North America Vintage Championship — one plain, one stitched.

Condition and photographs

None of these are signed, and only one — Phyrexian Metamorph — is stitched. Every listing uses real photographs of the actual playmat, so you can check the surface before buying.
