Alayna Danner Playmats

Our Alayna Danner playmats cover Cavern of Souls, a Forest from the Raining Cats and Dogs Secret Lair Commander Deck, two prints of Jeweled Lotus — one from MTG Las Vegas, one signed — Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx from the Legacy European Tour, and a signed Otawara, Soaring City. Half of these are signed, and Cavern of Souls is also stitched.

A decade defined by Secret Lair

Alayna Danner's Magic illustrations first appeared in Hour of Devastation (2017) and continue into current sets, most recently Lorwyn Eclipsed and its Commander deck (2026). She is one of the most prolific Secret Lair contributors represented in our collections, with 23 drops between 2019 and 2024, and has illustrated cards for the Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth and Final Fantasy Universes Beyond crossovers.

Jeweled Lotus, from its original printing

Danner illustrated Jeweled Lotus for its debut in Commander Legends (2020) — the same art used on both playmats in this collection. It's banned in the Commander format it was designed for. See our Jeweled Lotus collection for the rest of its catalog.

What's in this collection

Cavern of Souls is both signed and stitched. Forest, from the Raining Cats and Dogs Secret Lair Commander Deck, and one Jeweled Lotus print (from an MTG Las Vegas event) are unsigned; the other Jeweled Lotus and Otawara, Soaring City are signed. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx commemorates the Legacy European Tour.

Condition and photographs

Because half of these are signed, and one is also stitched, condition matters as much as the artwork. Every listing uses real photographs of the actual playmat, so you can check the surface and the signature before buying.
