Collection: Jester's Cap Playmats

Every Jester's Cap playmat here is Dan Frazier's work, and all are signed by him. Alongside his original Ice Age artwork there are three mash-up pieces pairing the Jester's Cap with the Moxen — one of them an undead goblin version — and an XXL reinterpretation with Richard Garfield's face, signed by Frazier and Garfield both.

One artist, one illustration, many variations

Jester's Cap debuted in Ice Age (1995) with art by Dan Frazier, and it remains legal in Legacy, Modern, Premodern and Commander. Four other artists have illustrated it since — D. Alexander Gregory for Ninth Edition (2005), and Matt Cavotta and Jesper Ejsing both for Dominaria Remastered (2023) — but none of those versions appears here. What this collection has instead is Frazier returning to his own 1995 subject again and again.

What's in this collection

Three playmats use the Ice Age artwork directly, one of them offered as a mouse pad rather than a playmat. Three more are mash-ups pairing the Jester's Cap with the Moxen, including “Undead Jester's Moxen,” which reworks the figure as an undead goblin; one of the two “Jester's Moxen” is also sketched. The last is an XXL playmat reimagining the Jester's Cap with Richard Garfield's face, sketched and signed by both Frazier and Garfield.

Condition and photographs

Because these are signed, individually finished pieces, condition matters as much as the artwork. Every listing uses real photographs of the actual playmat, so you can check the surface and the signature before buying.
