Ultimate Combat! Tatami — Vintage Spellground Playmat (Multi-Signed & Sketched)
This vintage Spellground playmat is the Ultimate Combat! Tatami, produced by Khalsa Brain Games for the Ultimate Combat! collectible card game in the mid-1990s.
The design features a traditional Asian brush-art landscape, with jagged rock formations, a small temple structure, a coiled Eastern dragon, the Ultimate Combat! title, and large calligraphic 道場 characters. Its soft felt-style surface and raw vintage construction place it firmly within the early era of collectible card game accessories.
This particular specimen is especially important because it has been multi-signed and artist-sketched by several classic Magic: The Gathering artists. It includes a hand-drawn Chaos Orb sketch and signature by Mark Tedin, dated 1996, a hand-drawn Homarid sketch and signature by Bryon Wackwitz, plus additional autographs from Melissa A. Benson and Anson Maddocks.
