Our Zoltan Boros playmats are two event editions of his card art: Gruul Spellbreaker, from Ravnica Allegiance, released at MagicFest New Jersey 2019, and Hordeling Outburst, from Khans of Tarkir, released at Grand Prix Florence 2015.

Two decades of Magic art, much of it shared

Zoltan Boros's Magic art dates back to 2005 and continues into 2026, most recently in Marvel Super Heroes. Many of his cards are credited jointly with Gabor Szikszai. His illustrations debuted most often in Time Spiral, Gatecrash, Lorwyn and Planar Chaos, and his Universes Beyond work spans Jurassic World, Tales of Middle-earth, Marvel's Spider-Man and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

What's in this collection

Gruul Spellbreaker debuted with his art in Ravnica Allegiance (2019), and the playmat was released at MagicFest New Jersey 2019. Hordeling Outburst debuted in Khans of Tarkir (2014) and the same art appeared on a 2015 Friday Night Magic promo; the playmat comes from Grand Prix Florence 2015.
