Show and Tell Playmats

Eight of our nine Show and Tell playmats are Jeff Laubenstein's original Urza's Saga artwork, most signed and many stitched, with several individually hand-drawn including a “[V3]” variant. The ninth is “Two-Toed Spectacle,” Andrea Radeck's take on the same image for Star City Games' Creature Collection line.

One illustration, drawn by hand again and again

Show and Tell debuted in Urza's Saga (1998) with art by Jeff Laubenstein, and it remains a Legacy staple — legal there and in Vintage, Premodern and Commander, though banned in Historic. Three other artists have illustrated it since, but none of those versions appears here: what this collection has is Laubenstein's own image, reproduced and hand-drawn across eight playmats.

What's in this collection

Most playmats here are signed and many are stitched. Several are individually hand-drawn rather than printed, including one labeled “[V3]” and another sold as a separate version. One is colour-stitched. Alongside them, “Two-Toed Spectacle” by Andrea Radeck reworks the same composition for Star City Games' Creature Collection — a parody of the card rather than its official art, and offered as such.

Condition and photographs

Because most of these are signed, and several individually hand-drawn, condition matters as much as the artwork. Every listing uses real photographs of the actual playmat, so you can check the surface and the signature before buying.
