Peter Mohrbacher Playmats

Our Peter Mohrbacher playmats include two prints of the same Grand Prix Phoenix 2014 Brimaz, King of Oreskos art — one signed, one not — plus Ghost Quarter from a Star City Games Open, a stitched Hasmed, Angel of Annihilation from Gen Con 2016, and Talent of the Telepath from Grand Prix Prague 2015.

A short but distinctive Magic career

Peter Mohrbacher's Magic illustrations first appeared in Commander 2011 and continued through the mid-2010s, most recently for Zendikar Rising Commander (2020) as a reprint of his earlier art. He is now known primarily for Angelarium, his own long-running illustrated project reimagining angels outside traditional religious iconography.

What's in this collection

The same Grand Prix Phoenix 2014 illustration of Brimaz, King of Oreskos is offered here both signed and unsigned. Ghost Quarter comes from a Star City Games Open, Hasmed, Angel of Annihilation is stitched and was made as a Gen Con 2016 Judge playmat, and Talent of the Telepath commemorates Grand Prix Prague 2015.
