Jace, the Mind Sculptor Playmats

Our Jace, the Mind Sculptor playmats cover three of the card's illustrators — Jason Chan's original Worldwake art from Eternal Weekend 2016, Wizard of Barge's Secret Lair version from MagicCon Philadelphia 2023, and TAPIOCA's Bloomburrow Commander version from Gen Con 2024 — plus Ken Meyer, Jr.'s "Jay the Bob Sculptor", a Jay & Silent Bob homage to the card. Many are signed.

From Worldwake to Bloomburrow

Jace, the Mind Sculptor debuted in Worldwake (2010) with art by Jason Chan — also the card's first foil printing — and it's legal in Modern, Legacy and Vintage. Chan's illustration has carried most of its reprints since, including From the Vault: Twenty, Eternal Masters, Masters 25 and Double Masters. Four more artists have illustrated it: Chris Rallis for Mythic Edition (2019), Wizard of Barge for a 2023 Secret Lair Drop, and Justin Gerard and TAPIOCA for Bloomburrow Commander (2024).

What's in this collection

Jason Chan's playmat comes from the Vintage Championship North America at Eternal Weekend 2016. Wizard of Barge's version was released at MagicCon Philadelphia 2023, in a signed and an unsigned edition, and TAPIOCA's comes from Gen Con 2024, stitched. Ken Meyer, Jr.'s "Jay the Bob Sculptor" is an unofficial Jay & Silent Bob homage to the card, with Jay "sculpting" Silent Bob's face, available as a stitched and signed playmat and mouse pad.

Condition and photographs

Because many of these are signed pieces, condition matters as much as the artwork. Every listing uses real photographs of the actual playmat, so you can check the surface and the signature before buying.
