David Palumbo Playmats

Our David Palumbo playmats include two prints of Glory-Bound Initiate, from Grand Prix Bologna and Richmond, both 2017, plus a signed and stitched "Totally Lost," his Gatecrash (2013) illustration. His Magic career runs from Shards of Alara (2008) to a recent Marvel Super Heroes crossover. One of the three is signed, and one is stitched.

A career now deep in Marvel

David Palumbo's Magic illustrations first appeared in Shards of Alara (2008) and continue into current sets, most recently for the Marvel Super Heroes crossover (2026), where he has become one of the more prolific contributors to that Universes Beyond line. Beyond Magic, he is based in Philadelphia, where he studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (2000–2004).
