Chippy Playmats

Our Chippy playmats are three event editions of the artist's card art: Akroma, Angel of Wrath, in the Duel Decks: Divine vs. Demonic version, from Grand Prix Chicago 2009; Selective Memory, from the Worldwake Premiere; and Spellskite, from a Grand Prix Detroit 2016 side event.

From Mirage onward

Chippy's Magic art dates back to Mirage (1996). The artist's illustrations debuted most often in Shadowmoor, Rise of the Eldrazi, Invasion and Future Sight.

What's in this collection

Akroma, Angel of Wrath uses Chippy's art from Duel Decks: Divine vs. Demonic (2009), on a Grand Prix Chicago 2009 playmat. Selective Memory has only ever been printed in Worldwake (2010), and the playmat comes from the Worldwake Premiere. Spellskite debuted with Chippy's art in New Phyrexia (2011); this playmat is from a side event at Grand Prix Detroit 2016.
